May 10th Living Floral Wreath

9:00am - 11:00am
- Learn how to create a one-of-a-kind 16" living wreath using blooming annuals, moss, and your own personal touch. Discuss the proper techniques for watering, feeding and pinching to keep your wreath gorgeous! Bring to class a wire cutter and garden gloves (optional). Class fee $19 Supply fee $18 (Paid to instructor at class) )

May 17th Minnesota State Horticultural Society Class-Living Wreath

10:00am - 12:00am
- For centuries, wreaths have been considered a warm and welcoming invitation into the home and are symbolic of celebration and tradition. The staff at Mickman's will show you how to create your own 10" Living Wreath using shade loving ivy and annuals. You will be able to hang or display your wreath outdoors in a shady area. Bring a big box to carry your project home, and a pair of gardening gloves, all other materials will be provided. Class fee $30 members, $40 nonmembers Supply fee $20 paid to Mickmans )

May 17th Minnesota State Horticultural Society Class-Container Garden for Sun or Shade

1:00pm - 2:00pm
- Mickman's staff will show you how to create beautiful containers using color, texture and form. You will choose from a selection of sun or shade annuals, and create your own container for your home. Bring a pair of gardening gloves and a trowel, all other materials will be provided. May 21st Xeriscaping 101

6:00pm - 7:30pm
- Learn latest trends in organic gardening and xeriscaping (landscaping that requires little or no water maintenance) incorporating native plants, perennials, and organic pest control. Class fee is $19 )
