Nate Sheldon - Landscape Designer
Nate began his landscape career at a young age by working on installation crews and the parks department of his hometown in Wisconsin. In high school, he took landscape design classes and earned the National FFA Landscape Award. Nate attended University of Minnesota where he studied landscape architecture and design and graduated with a Bachelors of Environmental Design.

Every yard is a challenge, yet some challenges are greater than others - this is where Nate seeks to set himself apart as a designer. Whether it is the use of enclosed patios and trees to create outdoor rooms, or native plants and grading to establish shorelines, he distinctively designs for each site to unite the desires and dreams of the homeowners.

Along with designing, Nate is active in committees across the Twin Cities, including the Landscape Design Committee and Environmental Concerns Committee of the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) and Blue Thumb water quality program. He is a MNLA Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional and believes in the power of continuing education.

No two sites are the same. From the landscape to the style of architecture to the needs and wants of each individual home owner, it is necessary to look at each project uniquely. Whether it is creating a backyard patio with a fire pit, or re-working a front walkway with fresh plantings to welcome friends, Paul enjoys meeting, listening, and working with people to create outdoor living spaces that are specially suited to each home.
