Mickman Brothers is currently seeking a professional Commercial Pesticide and Fertilizer Applicator.  Potential employees will be self-motivated, have a stable work history and be detail orientated.  We are willing to offer competitive pay with room for career advancement.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Fertilizer and pesticide applications to both residential and commercial accounts including HOA run communities
  • Properly follow safety procedures and pesticide label instructions
  • Keep detailed and up to date records of each application
  • Operate commercial spreaders/sprayers, push spreaders & hand sprayers
  • Assist lawn maintenance crews and professional gardeners as needed throughout the season
  • Complete required tasks accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness.
  • Work Monday through Friday, approximately 40 hours/week
  • Other tasks and duties, common to lawn care maintenance, as needed

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • DOT medical card, or ability to obtain one
  • MN Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (or the ability to obtain one) – Cat. A/E
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive team attitude and independently motivated
  • Reliable, punctual, and organized
  • Ability to efficiently manage customer communication and office tasks on time
  • Able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds.
  • Able to work in various weather conditions (8-10 hours a day)
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Minimum 1 year of previous lawn care treatment experience
