Job Description:

Strategy driven, New Business Development Associate leading all aspects of growth on both

 e-comm and brick and mortar platforms, including product and service lines. This includes identifying emerging trends and building market positioning by developing, defining, and launching new business opportunity.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Works closely with CEO & Marketing Department/Sales Associates to lead growth and development for the company
  • Identifies new industry trends, products, styles, events, and more
  • Identify new product ideas for our online stores, principally our online fundraiser at Besides identifying ‘product(s) potential’, this process includes:
  • Product availability
  • Market possibilities
  • Packaging development
  • Delivery challenges
  • Marketing avenues
  • Identifies new relationships, positions, and partnerships
  • Explores and develops new business opportunities
  • Analyzes market strategy and makes recommendations
  • Examines and proposes investments, opportunities, and business deals
  • Examines risks and potential for new business developments
  • Closes new deals and launches new product with MBI team
  • Enhances brand imaging and industry positioning
  • Elevates reputation and customer experiences with brand
  • Adds value to brand and new efforts


  • History and track record of success with new business development
  • Media and industry connections and management, vast network
  • Professional presentation and eye for ‘first to market’
  • Sales and closing experience
  • Putting customer experience as #1 priority


  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree, plus 5+ years in business or product development role
  • Creative, innovative, and eye for analytics/design
  • Microsoft Office efficiency, and design programs preferred but not necessary
  • Knowledge and experience of e-commerce and manufacturing industries
  • Experience in market research and submitting proposals
