Conservation Efforts

From Sustainable Harvesting to Replanting Forests

A Family Tradition

Even as young boys, company Founders John & Chris — along with our father and brothers — planted thousands of trees each year, primarily for use as Christmas Trees. Many of these trees serve their communities today as mature forests for both people and creatures to enjoy.

Sustainable Harvesting

Mickman Brothers has continued these conservation efforts and have been honored to be awarded National, State, County and local awards for our investments in many domains.

Nature’s Holiday Gifts

One of our annual planting projects includes funding the planting of evergreen seedlings for each Holiday Gift Wreath purchased that year. Since we began this initiative in 2007, over 650,000 seedlings have been planted in National and State Forests in 49 States!
