Mickman Brothers is currently seeking a professional Garden Center Sales Associate/Merchandiser.  Potential employees will be self-motivated, have a stable work history and be detail orientated.  We are willing to offer competitive pay with room for career advancement.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Assists in the sale of nursery products and all other Garden Center merchandise
  • Create and maintain great looking plant, garden decor and seasonal displays
  • Assist in the retail store as assigned, including but not limited to cashiering, customer assistance, merchandising and inventory control and maintenance
  • Receiver merchandise following Point of Sale (POS) system procedures
  • Maintain quality merchandise as define by controlling conditions that could result in inventory shrinkage, i.e., watering, weeding, and fertilizing practices, breakage, and theft
  • Conduct or assist with Garden Center Workshops, Seminars, and Events
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Garden Center Manager
  • Provide a safe and clean work environment for team members and clients
  • Complete required tasks accurately and in a timely manner

Job Qualifications:

  • Preferred: A minimum of 2 years Garden Center experience or related Retail Sales experience
  • Must be able to work some nights and weekends
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive team attitude and independently motivated
  • Reliable, punctual, and organized
  • Ability to efficiently manage customer communication and office tasks on time
  • Maintain professional appearance
